Your help matters more than we can say

Recovery Resources
Needs You

There are so many ways to help, and everything you do hands on helps us do more with less. Simply learning more about addiction and mental health is an important step to increasing awareness.

There are things you can do that no one else can, and there are big things we can do together through the efforts of many people. Here are some ideas:

  • Talk to your friends and family about recovery. Everyone who speaks up helps to diminish the stigma around addiction and mental health and to increase understanding. It’s a matter of creating a groundswell, which begins with all of us.
  • Stay in touch by visiting recres.org, friending us on Facebook and reading our blogs.
  • Subscribe to receive our enewsletter and/or a notification when new blog posts appear.
  • Attend our events.
  • Talk to us about helping with Peer Support or Warmline counseling (for those with life experience only).
  • Ask about helping with event prep, mentoring a consumer at work or working in one of our offices.
  • Invite a Recovery Resources speaker to your local community groups or ask about becoming a speaker for us.

We invite you to join our Volunteers for Recovery group and to watch this page for new developments in our volunteer program.  We appreciate everything that you do.
